Lexus has announced the pricing for its new 2010 HS 250h, the company’s first dedicated hybrid luxury car that gets an EPA-estimated ratings of 35 mpg city and 34 mpg on the highway for a combined 35 mpg on regular 87-octane gasoline.

Prices start at $34,200 for the standard model and $36,970 for the Premium model. The standard 2010 Lexus HS 250h includes leather seats, 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with an 8-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, a 10-speaker system with a 6-disc CD changer, Bluetooth connectivity for phone and music streaming, satellite radio (with 90-day trial), USB/ iPod connectivity and 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels. The Premium 2010 HS 250h 18 inch wheels, rain-sensing windshield wipers, heated exterior mirrors, wood trim, memory seats, and more. Lexus is also offering the optional 6-generation navigation system with its Remote Touch controller.

Power for the 2010 Lexus HS 250h the company’s first 4-cylinder 2.4L Atkinson engine mated to the Lexus Hybrid Drive System. Mated to a CVT transmission, the HS 250h produces a total of 187-hp allowing it to go from 0 to 60 mph in 8.4 seconds.

Mystery of the five door hatchback hybrid Lexus 200h CT finally revealed.
Although the new opening will open next week when the exhibition officially Geneva Auto Show is held, but the specification of new Lexus cars are already revealed.

Lexus calls, not just CT 200h hybrid cars regular five-door hatchback. But the electric motor in this car is more powerful. CT hybrid system is taken from the LF-Ch Lexus ever shown in concept form at the Frankfurt Auto Show last year. And now Lexus marry with a conventional 1.8-liter engine VVT-i. The machine is combined with a magnet synchronous electric motor. As for the battery to power the electric motor, this premium brand to use nickel-metal materials. Power of the nickel-metal particles resulting from the electric battery, and then sent to the front wheels simultaneously with the electrical system is controlled by variable transmission (E-CVT). Design matters, Lexus seems to want this time targeting the younger hatchback design presents a sleek five-door.

The car also looks sporty with the use of front and rear spoiler. With a length of 4320 mm, width 1765 mm, height 1430 mm, meaning shorter CT 140 mm and 50 mm lower than the Prius. One of note, CT also uses 17-inch rim size with the use of a sporty suspension and double wishbone McPherson.

Performance figures should therefore be acceptable, without providing too much of a
thrill – 0-62 should come in about 10.2 seconds.
